Datsun’s 240Z, dubbed the ‘Fairlady,’ was a graceful, clean-lined coupe that drew from the aesthetics of the Jaguar E-type coupe. With its long bonnet, aggressive, sharp nose profile, and the angled quarter windows, the 240Z redefined what sports cars were in the early 1970s. Elements of the 240Z can be easily seen in its modern counterpart, the Nissan 370Z.
